"For my latest project, I wanted to build songs in the studio rather than simply documenting songs as they existed. So, knowing that Brando is an idea guy, I came to Soundcake with songs that were in a much more preliminary form than usual. Brando managed to exceed my high expectations. Even late at night, when we were all exhausted from a long day of recording, Brando was still able to rattle off six or seven (good) ideas for any given part of the song we were working on."

"Capillarious was a great record to produce and engineer because of the different styles and directions the songs took. One of the nice things about working with Seth is that he’s completely open to new ideas and suggestions when building his songs. This back and forth process allowed for our creative ideas to flow, without feeling restricted by boundaries. Seth’s lyrics, which are very intense at times, were instrumental in determining where each song would go musically and sonically. I had a great time working with Seth and his band and look forward to his next project."
